Standard production time is 10 working days on all Nan’s Cajun Seasoning Products and on all Tally Book Plus Products, up to end column quantity. Production time begins the day after receipt of completed order, including approved artwork. If your order requires insertion of an item sourced outside of Cajun-Connections, production time begins after we receive these items. Rush service may be available at an additional charge; please contact us for pricing and availability.




Identify repeat orders with the previous order number and the date it was produced. There is no setup charge for exact repeats of artwork.




The F.O.B. point is our plant in Louisiana. If no specific instructions are given, FedEx Ground will be used for all shipments under 10 boxes or 300 lbs., over which a freight line will be used. There is a handling charge of $1.50(X) per box added for shipment on client's account.


Split/Drop Shipments: For shipments to multiple destinations, with different shipping times or by multiple shipping methods, add $10.00 (G) for each shipment after the first. There is a $35.00 (G) charge each for split shipments/drop shipments when pallets are required.




Samples are free of charge if you provide your shipping account number. We recommend obtaining a sample before ordering to ensure products meet your satisfaction.




Spec Samples are free of charge, provided you supply the artwork and a shipping account number for freight charges.




Four-color process printing is used for reproducing high quality graphics with photo quality images.

Digitally created process images should be created in or converted to CMYK format. Note any color change in the image when converting from RGB to CMYK and adjust colors as needed. Resolution cannot simply be increased in the program if working from a low resolution file. Color proofs are made from the digital file and may vary slightly from your computer monitor or color printer. The final printed product may also vary slightly from the color proof due to the differences between printing and proofing methods. We cannot guarantee exact PMS color match, but we will try to come as close as possible.






Artwork may be submitted in electronic format. Electronic artwork may be submitted via disk (CD-Rom, DVD, USB Drive) or email.


Please observe the following guidelines

  1. Please include your company name and purchase order number on all artwork sent. Choose a file name that relates to the artwork such as the purchase order number.
  2. Always send a hard copy of your art so that we can compare the two and verify that your artwork is not altered in any way when opened. You may submit a JPEG or PDF file to act as your hard copy. Include it as an attachment along with your artwork. Please send all e-mail artwork to artwork@cajun-connections.com.

Acceptable software

-  Adobe Illustrator CC or lower

Embed all linked graphics.

Save as an EPS, PDF or AI file.

Create outlines for all text.

-  Adobe Photoshop CC or lower

Save as a TIF or PSD.

  1. We also accept scanned images; the preferred format is TIF. We recommend scanning artwork in line art mode at 1200 DPI. Resolution cannot simply be increased in the program if working from a low resolution file.
  2. We accept compressed art in the ZIP format.
  3. If you would like to place an order but do not have sufficient artwork, we have a staff of artists who can perform cleanup, recreate art or create original artwork. Our design charge is $55 (G). Art cleanup is billed at $40 (G) per hour.




No charge for first proof per order. Additional proofs are $10.00 (G) per proof. Proofs will be emailed unless otherwise requested. Email proof colors will vary based on your computer system or printer.
